My husband and I have purchased community cook books for years, whether from groups that we belong to, like our church, or once in a while when traveling. So you may ask - why an eCookbook?
A Story of My Church's Cookbooks
Years ago, my friend Eloise wanted to purchase our church's cookbook. She had been at a number of church group parties and when asking about a recipe was told - it is in the church cookbook. Fortunately for the group, but not my friend, the cookbooks were sold out. So she called the printer and they said they would have to order at least 100 more, to reprint them, but that was not in the groups plans. This first cookbook was done in 1995. The church group eventually did a second cookbook in 2005,which I am pretty sure that she purchased the new one, but now it is 2017! . An eCookbook provides a living cookbook that keeps getting updated with new recipes, and keeps generating revenue on an annual basis.

How Do You Begin?

Sign up to start your eCookbook.
Configure your recipe format and search
We will provide you with the standard recipe format, forms to request recipes, and recipe search features. We will provide training to enable you to configure it to meet your groups specific needs.
Solicit Recipes
Reach out to your members or organization to submit recipes. It is easy to do - and then you just need to review, tweaks any misspellings if needed, and publish.
Sell - Sell - Sell
Once you have enough recipes loaded, then it is time to sell. Selling is easy. Reach out to your members, organization, others and provide a link for them to sign up to have access to your community cookbook.
Group Member Email Lists!
With our base package you (as an admin) can email all of your eCommunity Cookbook members with information on new recipes for them to check out. Did some forget to renew? You can also email lapsed members to renew now - also enticing them with new recipes! If you want your members to be able to connect with each other on recipes and cooking topics, you can select our Member Connect Email option!
