You can select your own price for your cookbook. For purposes of illustrating the potential profits (before advertising), we have used a price of $15 annually. Do you need a website? If is up to you to decide it that will help you sell more cookbooks  Do you need the Member eConnect Emailing? If you think that will build your community, it may make sense!

Some More Details on Pricing and Profits

In addition to the eCommunity Cookbook charges, if you want to automate the online purchase and membership renewal,  you will need an Authorize.net Payment Gateway and a Merchant Account.  Each of these have fees that are paid direct to the provider. Currently the monthly fee for Authorize.net is $25 per month and used their current merchant fees of 2.9% and .30 per transaction to provide the following profit estimates. 



 

These are just examples, your pricing, advertising revenue and merchant fees, will determine your actual profit.
